Award Winning Germantown Traditional

Award Winning Germantown Traditional
Need info hereThis project consisted of transforming the main living space and kitchen by adding on a new family room and removing the original separation wall and fireplace to completely open the space to improv the layout, functionality, and design of a very small galley kitchen. This traditional Germantown home already had a unique and warm East Memphis flair that we were able to maintain by working closely with the client and Kimberly Bacon, the decorator for this project. The project started with the owner’s vision for an open concept with a larger more functional kitchen which set the scope for the project. Our team worked together to come up with a design that enhanced the current style of the home and accomplished the owner’s true vision for the project. The open spaces made this kitchen not only functional but flows well for the family and provides a much better layout for entertaining friends. The limestone fireplace and aged timber beams are the focal points of the new living space, and the antique barn door and vintage wet bar brings in the downtown vibe and completes the space. The Large windows in the addition in combination with the vaulted ceilings transformed a room that was starved for light into a brighter more inviting environment.
