Our New Construction Process
When you choose our new construction service, we make building a new home simple. Through our easy, step-by-step process you can dream, design, and build the home you’ve always wanted. Our process looks a bit like this:
Consultation
Before the Heritage Builders team starts on your design, we will hold an initial consultation to gather ideas from you. We want your new home to reflect your wants and needs, and believe communication is key to a successful new construction project. In this meeting, we will review your ideas and discuss various costs associated with similar projects.
Design
Our team puts together a completely detailed set of drawings and schedules clearly detailing every component of your project. We want you to get the feel for your new home, so we can execute the project to your liking. If the design is not what you expected, feel free to send us back to the drawing board.
Authorization
Once a design is complete, we will hold a meeting to discuss any changes you’d like us to make. We will thoroughly review everything with you and answer any and all questions. If you like what you see and authorize us to move forward, we will at this time.
Construction
Before construction, we will walk you through the plans once more. Then, we will pass off your project to our project manager and staff in the field. The project manager coordinates all construction efforts, so communication is critical. During construction, you will communicate with your project manager on a daily basis.
Once your new construction project is complete, we will schedule a time for you to do a final walk-through of your new space. Once you are completely satisfied with the final results, we can go through all of the close-out procedures with you—and you can finally enjoy your new home!
